About weframe

Everyone knows they should be using AI. Almost nobody knows where to start. That gap is the business. We go into a company, work out where the pain and the growth opportunities actually are, and build them custom AI and software against it. Then we hold ourselves to a number the client picked. We price per outcome, not per hour, and we turn work down when we cannot see the number.

Three founders, all from the growth team at a venture-backed edtech that scaled to around 200 people. We built AI systems there that drove real revenue and replaced entire manual workflows, and we saw what it costs when nobody asks the right question before building. We left to do it properly for other businesses. We are business people who build, not tech people who consult.

About the Role

You work directly with the three of us on whatever the business needs most that week. Some weeks that is outbound. Some weeks it is prepping a pitch, writing a case study, cleaning up the pipeline, or building an internal tool because doing the thing by hand has stopped being viable. The role is shaped by what is in front of us, and what is in front of us changes.

Growth is where you start, and it is where most of the first month goes. It is the biggest constraint on the business right now. We have the engineering capacity to take on more clients than we are currently winning, and the reason is that the three of us are running client relationships and pitching at the same time as trying to fill the top of the funnel. So you own the outbound engine and the ops that keep the pipeline moving. Who we go after, which channel we test next, what happens after a call, and whether the number went up.

Nobody here knows yet which funnel works best for us. Cold calling, email, LinkedIn, something none of us has tried. You will run the tests that find out. You will be making calls off what the data says rather than off anyone's opinion, including ours, and we will expect you to tell us when the data disagrees with us.

If you are good at this, the scope widens fast. Plenty of people who start on growth at a company this size end up somewhere else entirely, and we would rather find out what you are actually good at than hold you to the job title. Three months, full time, in person. If it works, you stay.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and run the outbound engines. Lists, sequences, channels, follow-up. Including the judgment about who is worth going after and who is not.
  • Run A/B tests constantly. Channel, message, target, timing, offer. One variable at a time, results reported weekly, decisions made off the numbers.
  • Find the buyers for our productised builds. We have systems we can deploy repeatedly. Working out who wants them and how to reach those people at volume is largely open.
  • Manage the pipeline. Keep it accurate, chase what has gone quiet, and know the status of every live conversation before one of us asks.
  • Prepare the founders for pitches. Research the business, write the notes, put the one-pager together, then own the follow-up and the next step afterwards.
  • Keep the internal ops running. Every prospect leaves a trail of notes, transcripts and half-remembered detail across three inboxes. Turn that into something we can work from, then keep it accurate.
  • Build your own tooling. We build AI systems for a living, so it would be strange if the person running outbound did it by hand. Tell us when the manual version is genuinely better.

What You’ll Bring

  • You are fascinated by AI and you can prove it. Things you have built, things you have broken, an opinion about where it is going that you arrived at yourself.
  • You already build with the tools rather than just using them. Claude, ChatGPT, n8n or Zapier, Cursor or Lovable, whatever ships next month.
  • A record of going after excellence somewhere. Grades, sport, a society, a business, a personal project you took more seriously than anyone required you to.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. You can talk to people and sell to them. We want someone who could own client relationships in time, not just fill a spreadsheet.
  • Resilience. Most of what you send will get ignored, and some of the feedback will be blunt. The job needs someone who reads a no, works out what it taught them, and sends the next one.
  • You make decisions off data. When you say something is working, you can show why.
  • Ownership. You take pride in the work and you finish things without being chased.
  • Hunger. You want to learn from people who are actively trying to bring you up.

None of this depends on what you studied or where. If most of it sounds like you, apply.

Why weframe

The team is small enough that there is no layer between you and the decisions. No committees, no sign-off chain, no waiting a week for an answer. You will hear the pricing arguments, watch deals get lost, and know why. If you are doing well, you get a lot of autonomy quickly. That is the whole deal, and it cuts both ways: there is no structure here to hide behind either. If you want a defined role and a graduate training programme, this is the wrong job. If you want to find out in three months whether you can actually do this, it is a good one.

Compensation

Competitive salary, plus a performance bonus tied to a KPI you own. We price our client work on outcomes, so it would be odd not to do the same internally.

Our Workplace

In person in London, 4/5 days a week. The work moves too fast and changes too often to do remotely, and most of what you learn here you will pick up by overhearing it.

How We Hire

  1. 1This form, plus your CV.
  2. 2A short conversation with Sam, our AI interviewer.
  3. 3A short build task. It is the kind of thing you would actually be doing here, and it shouldn't take more than a few hours.
  4. 4A call with the founders.

Think it’s you?

The form takes a few minutes.
